Summary

Close Lumber and Corning Lumber is a family-owned building materials and hardware store chain in northern California, with locations in Sutter, Yuba City, Williams, Willows, Orland, and Corning. This job listing is for the Corning location. Store operations are Monday through Saturday.

This employee’s focus will be to put away stock, use saws to cut lumber and other building materials, assist with customer orders and deliveries, and assist customers in-person and over the phone in a retail store. The employee will need to be able to provide excellent customer service both in-person and over the phone.

This is a full-time position. The work schedule is about 40 to 48 hours a week. This job includes the following benefits:

Essential Job Tasks

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time

  • Ability to provide great customer service
  • Enthusiastic interest in learning unique product offerings of the company
  • Basic computer skills necessary for invoicing and processing orders
